Lymphnodes examined from pyloric and
lesser curvature regions

Lyphnodes have a preserved
architecture with patent subcapsular sinuses.

Higher power on the
sinuses disclose atypical clusters of cells.

These cells have a vacuolar
cytoplasm.

Immunohistochemistry,
Cytokeratins, demonstrate sinus neoplastic emboli.

Sinuses are filled with
carcinomatous cells, less apparent on HE stain.

Carcinomatous cells
should not be confused with muciphages, cytokeratin negative, sometimes
encountered in the sinuses.
